MAIN PURPOSE
 ACIS is a very sophisticated “User Friendly” database, which allows easy storage of the mass of data concerned with the management of Crime Reduction.

ADDRESS
 ACIS automatically enters address details of members and offenders once they are known. This predictive feature will save many hours of inputter's time

AUDIT FACILITY
 ACIS provides a complete and secure Data Audit System. Among its many features, it allows Deleted Data Restoration for certain users provided certain Data Protection Protocols are adhered to. Excellent audit trails are maintained so that you can be confident that you are always acting legally & properly.

BACK-UP
 ACIS allows an easy “Back-Up” facility so your data is never lost.

COMPACT & REPAIR
 ACIS allows you to automatically compact data for space saving and repair if necessary.

DATA FIELD
 ACIS displays a marker (Asterisks) on every Data Tab that contains information. This saves time and prevents opening empty data areas.

DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION
 ACIS allows you to enter your own Data Protection Text and to set suitable Review Dates, according to your requirements. (E.g. different time scales for adults, Juveniles and Risk categories).

DATE
 ACIS allows dates to be entered in an abbreviated form (for speed). It will not allow you to input Incident Dates to the future.

DESCRIPTION
 ACIS provides facility to record description either by way of intelligence or incident.

FEATURES
 ACIS provides a powerful “Feature Search” which identifies scars, moles, tattoos etc. on body parts etc.

GRAPHS
 ACIS facilitates the easy production of a whole range of graphs using data from all areas of the database. Graphs are then exported to Microsoft Word for ease of use and personalisation.

HEADERS FOOTERS AND MARGINS
 ACIS allows you to set your own spacing parameters for Reports.

INTELLIGENCE REMINDERS
 ACIS will remind users of ‘Intelligence Entries’ on specific dates so nothing is forgotten.

JUVENILES
 ACIS displays an automatic WARNING when details of a Juvenile are displayed. You can then react appropriately according to your partnership protocols.

LEARNS AS IT GOES
 ACIS continually learns and saves hours of inputting time by identifying members names, addresses, security guards etc. thereby saving duplicate information from being inputted time and time again. Having entered the data once, it does not require entering again. You are able to edit all of these data lists.

LOGO
 ACIS easily allows individual SCHEME LOGOS to be added to documents, reports etc.

MANAGEMENT TOOLS
 ACIS allows you to create and manage reports easily & efficiently, enabling you to quickly and professionally respond & report back to your members and Board of Management. You are able to visibly & effectively demonstrate the benefits of membership to your partnership.

MERGE FACILITY
 ACIS allows the details of one offender to be merged into that of another e.g. where an unknown person is identified and details of that suspect already exist on the database. An “Audit Trail” is automatically created to show how and why a record has changed.

NICKNAMES, STREET NAMES and ALIASES
 ACIS allows “Nicknames”, “Street Names” and “Aliases” to be recorded against an offender.

OFFENDER ASSOCIATES
 ACIS automatically links offenders by incident and / or intelligence allowing easy switching from one to another.

OFFENDER NAMES
 ACIS records all Offender Surnames in capitals and ensures that each sentence starts with a capital letter. This will enable you to enter data in a more professional and efficient way.

OFFENDER DROP DOWN MENUS
 ACIS provides a very quick preview of offenders’ activities, addresses, incidents, vehicles etc.

PASSWORD PROTECTED
 ACIS facilitates “Password Protected” documents to be passed easily via the Internet.

PHOTOGRAPH CHANGE
 ACIS detects when an offender photograph has been changed in the database and displays a warning to this effect.

PHOTOGRAPH CIRCULATIONS
 ACIS allows the building of Photo Circulations (12 x photos per page) in Microsoft Word and numbers each photo individually (regardless of page number). It provides the extra facility to edit each photo or word entry on the actual produced document without affecting the live-data.

PHOTOGRAPH - OFFENDER
 ACIS allows one or all of an Offender’s photo’s to be displayed at the same time and provides a choice as to which one is used in a report etc. This enables you to ensure that the most recent or the best likeness is used.

PHOTOGRAPH – SEARCH FACILITY
 ACIS provides the ability to display various groups of offender photographs together by linking them using the search facility of ‘name’, ‘address’, ‘district’, ‘town’, ‘vehicle’, ‘description’, ‘features’, ‘clothing’, ‘incident’ ‘location’, ‘exclusions’, ‘Anti Social Behaviour Orders’ or any combination of this criteria.

PHOTOGRAPH UPLOAD
 ACIS allows the storage of both “Offender” and “Property Stolen” photographs in a very simplistic way. Once a photograph has been scanned and saved into a ‘J Peg format’, it merely needs to be ‘opened’ and will automatically appear in the offender or incident entry.

PREDICTIVE
 ACIS Analyses data and has the ability to predict what is likely to happen today or on any chosen day in the future. This is an extremely important feature and provides detailed information and intelligence for briefings etc. outlining which offenders are likely to visit and what they might steal. It also predicts “problem areas” that are being targeted on certain days / times.

PRINTING
 ACIS records the time, day, date and person authorising the printing of any document.

REPORTS IN MICROSOFT WORD
 ACIS exports data to Microsoft WORD DOCUMENTS allowing easy editing.

REVIEW DATES
 ACIS allows you to pre-view the “Reviews Due” today or on any date to the future.

RISK ASSESSMENT
 ACIS will automatically score an offender out of six points according to their Risk Assessment in connection with ‘Drugs’, ‘Infections’, ‘Violence’ and ‘Weapons’. This assessment is then displayed by way of a ‘Warning Marker’ on a Suspect Record.

SCREEN SWITCHING
 ACIS allows easy switching from Offenders to Incidents with the ability to display both screens at the same time. Switching from screen to screen to view details such as vehicles, associates etc. is simple.

SEARCH FACILITY
 ACIS allows users to easily SEARCH data on almost any aspect of the entered data.

SECURITY
 ACIS is a totally secure database, which cannot be copied from one database to another and cannot be accessed without the relevant permission. This will give you peace of mind that your database is safe & secure.

SPELL CHECK
 ACIS allows documents to be Spell Checked.

STATISTICS
 ACIS provides statistics of how many offenders and incidents have been recorded between two chosen dates. This is an easy to use feature, which supports the management reports feature and the graphs feature.

USER GROUP PERMISSIONS
 ACIS provides the ability to pre-set User Groups and determine the level at which the database allows them to function. You are able to restrict users of the database to clearly defined activities e.g. Administrator, Inputer, View Only etc.

WARNING MARKERS
 ACIS automatically displays warning markers in respect of VIOLENCE, DRUGS, ASBOS, and JUVENILES with easy access to the source of the information.

WITNESS
 ACIS provides easy facility to record details of witnesses etc.
